Welcome to the Exelon Medway community page!

While you may not know us as your neighbor, the Medway Peaking Plant has been quietly operating at 9 Summer Street since 1970. Our Plant Manager Jack Hughes and his support staff of eleven associates together make up the face of Exelon in Medway. We hope that you stop back often to see what’s new at 9 Summer Street, around town and throughout the region.

POWER LUNCH | NOVEMBER 2015

mpp_community_power-lunch-1115_250x250_01Plant Manager Jack Hughes hosted a BBQ lunch for employees to reinforce the importance of safety during outage work at the facility. During outages, facilities are taken off line so that preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs can be made. The number of workers on site during outages can multiply by tens or even hundreds, depending on the facility and scheduled workload, so attention to safety is a primary focus.
